Bob time jumps in. Zoltan is standing in a clearing with a staff in his hand.

Bob: The books were right, here I find you.

Zoltan: And here you shall die.

Bob: Death is irrelevant as we do not exist at all.

Zoltan: Nevertheless you shall cease not existing.

Bob and Zoltan fight for a while with staffs. Just as it looks like Bob will be defeated Zoltan pauses and Bob speaks.

Bob: I tell you if you kill me I shall be in the same state of non existence as before. You would have gained nothing.

Zoltan: But if we both equally do not exist then to each other we could not tell. Only someone who exists could see that we did not.

Bob: Just because we do not know that we do not exist does not mean that we do.

Zoltan: But where is the proof. For all intents and purposes we exist as we cannot tell that we do not exist. Therefore if I destroy you, you will move onto another plane of non non existence. So according to me whether I exist or not I still will not have to deal with you any longer. And I can also stop you from telling Citizen Moose of my whereabouts.

Bob: Nothing exists, not even your staff.

Zoltan’s staff time jumps out.  

Zoltan: An interesting point but just because the staff does not exist does not mean that I also do not exist.

Bob: But it does as the staff was an extension of yourself.

Zoltan: Point well taken but still I shall vanquish you.   Maybe not right here right now but some time in the past or future.

Bob: Yes, not today.

Bob time jumps out.

Future version of Zoltan time jumps in.

Zoltan (Present): Are you off to seek the Infinite Power Source?

Zoltan (Future): Yes as a matter of fact I am. I’m going to the year 4212AD

Zoltan (Present): You will die upon the desert of the Alpha Sector. The Zamneses Brothers will vanquish you.

Zoltan (Future): It doesn’t matter as we don’t exist anyway.

Zoltan (Present): Have you met a fellow by the name of General Bob, General of Philosophy?

Zoltan (Future): No, not that I remember. Well tally ho time to meet my destiny.

Zoltan (Future) time jumps out.

Zoltan (Present) time jumps out.

Bob time jumps into the hangar.

Rachis: What found you?

Bob: My philosophical reasoning was correct. Zoltan was on Danube Belay. I faced him in mortal combat.

Rachis: Were you successful in eliminating the threat?

Bob: I wasn’t. But I did have a philosophical victory. Although Zoltan would see it another way.

Rachis: I care not about your philosophic victories. See this before us (indicates ships) these will easily take out the threat that Zoltan poses. All I need is positive identification of where he is and my ships will go there.

Bob: Citizen Moose has a plan. General Mustafa is leading his army on training exercises on Secom Prime. My latest predictions indicate that that is Zoltan’s next destination. If you take your ships there not only will you have the air force but the army as well behind you.

Rachis: What year?
Bob: 719AD.

Rachis: Quite a long time ago.

Bob: Yes, well I hope you have a flair for history.

Rachis: I will ready my troops and we shall leave at once. You better be right the Time Jump Law Enforcement Agency won’t like too many unauthorized jumps.

Bob: Don’t worry, I’m right.
